Hello! I’m Elizabeth Tomlin. I’m a Catholic author and General Counsel for the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA. I have worked in women’s ministry for more than a decade. I love to write about all things faith-related – scripture, Church history, parish ministry, and more. I wrote Joyful Momentum: Growing and Sustaining Vibrant Women’s Groups (Ave Maria Press) to help communities cultivate thriving, healthy, faith-filled women’s groups.
I speak to audiences large and small, both in the United States and abroad. Whether you’re planning a diocesan conference, or a small retreat, I’d love to work with your group. Send me an email or message on Instagram or Twitter.
You’ll find my shorter writing featured on CatholicMom.com, the Military Council of Catholic Women, and in Salute, the magazine of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA
Still want to know more? Well… I’m an Army wife, a mom to three children from college-age, to elementary school, and you’ll often find me wrangling our chocolate lab puppy, Hershey.
Educationally speaking, I earned a bachelor of science degree in chemistry from the College of William and Mary a juris doctor from George Mason University School of Law, and I’m midway through a Masters in Theology at the University of Notre Dame.
