Hello! I’m Elizabeth – the ginger on the right! I’m an army wife, mom, lawyer, and Catholic. I am passionate about joyfully growing my little family in the Faith, and helping women’s ministries to extend hospitality, exalt truth, and equip spiritual leaders and mentors. My hope is to build a collaborative community through this little blog-deavor – a place where we can share and encourage each other in parenting and ministry. A healthy and vibrant women’s ministry will instigate growth throughout the faith community, and we can’t do it alone!
As a military spouse, I am really involved with the women’s ministry of the Archdiocese for the Military Services, USA – the Military Council of Catholic Women (MCCW). I helped set up the MCCW as a non-profit in 2012 and continue to serve on the board of directors. If you are a military-affiliated woman, please check out the MCCW! Go to an event. Find us on Facebook and connect.
In addition to my blogging and writing hobbies, I love meeting Catholic women’s ministry groups, getting to know the ladies, and speaking at retreats and conferences. I recently presented at the Mid-Atlantic Congress in February 2018, and I’m prepping for a retreat in the Netherlands in the fall. On most weekends you can find me adventuring in the DC area with my family. (I’ll blog about that!)
Please contact me, and let’s get to know each other better! If you’re in the DC area, perhaps we can meet for coffee!
One final thought. I searched and searched for a picture of just me. Then I thought about it – how fitting that I’m with one of my Sisters in Christ in this picture – someone who has encouraged me over the years, inspired me through her writing, and been a humble model of holiness. Thank you, Donna-Marie Cooper O’Boyle!
